Sand Durga at Puri Beach

Beautiful sand sculpture of Goddess Durga at the Puri Beach – better than just a plain ole’ sand castle

The modern view that mother is treated like a friend or any other form is a misconception.
    She is a living GOD.
The Hindu way has given mother a status greater than God by saying “Matru Devobhava”, then comes father and Guru.
Goddess Lakshmi is mother to all of us. In divali, it is said that she helped God to fight with demon Narakasura(represnting evil).
Tell the children the stories of “Garutmanta” the big bird , the carrier of LOrd Vishnu.
The story shows, how God liked a perfect worshipper of mother and made him his Vahanamu.
You start this practice: Start your day with prayer to your mother and end your day with prayer to your mother. You will find the difference in a few days
