World Vegetarian Day

A couple of months ago, there was a survey that showed that most Indians are not vegetarian. This is contrary to the popular notion of Hindus being vegetarian.

I am a vegetarian by birth and continue to remain vegetarian…

 Albert Einstein had said

Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.

Studies have shown that vegetarians (following a well-balanced low-fat high-fibre vegetarian diet) often have lower incidence of coronary artery disease, hypertension, obesity and some forms of cancer. They may also have a lower risk for some other diseases such as constipation, diverticular disease, gallstones and appendicitis.

  2. The comment seems a little harsh for Non-veg, NO offense is meant; this is purely a personal observation :

There are so many best vegetables, you can always have it. There are avilable freely without voilenece.
There is a well planned built in food cycle system, for all living creatures. Cow is a pure vegetarian and eats grass and we take its milk.
It was researched that new diseases have started appearing, if you feed a cow with non-veg and then use its milk.
But, to get the best meat, one has to go to the best animal. Like Lion likes the meat of head of the elephant. Man is the best animal, so the best meat will be human animal meat!
Then man may become a cannibal! God forbid.
    There is a saying
” Serve all beings as service to God”.
