Thought this story was very uplifting and touching…..

I wish that more stories like the one below make it to the headlines so that our days start off in a happy mood….

In Chandigarh, a 102-year-old man walked out of a five-star hotel here with a discount matching his age after having a sumptuous lunch with his family.

The rather elderly Jamna Das availed of a special discount Monday offered by the Taj hotel’s specialty Indian restaurant called Dera.

The hotel had offered to give discounts to senior citizens matching their age on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.

Since the hotel could not offer money to Das for the extra two percent discount over the 100 percent discount limit, they made up for it by presenting him with a gift after he completed his meal.
