Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?

Filed under: Funny — hindumommy @ 7:57 pm

A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was: “Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?”

The survey was a huge failure.

The reason:

In Africa they didn’t know what ‘food’ meant

In India they didn’t know what ‘honest’ meant

In Europe they didn’t know what ‘shortage’ meant

In China they didn’t know what ‘opinion’ meant

In the Middle East they didn’t know what ‘solution’ meant

In South America they didn’t know what ‘please’ meant

And in the USA they didn’t know what ‘please’ meant, And ALSO what ‘the rest of the world’ meant!!

  1. I think the committee had no one who felt the food shortage
    at any time!
There are so many armchair solutions.
    Here are some:
One thing is ” Reduce Selfishness”, It is easier said than done.
Another great way is to “Serve All Beings as Service to GOD”.
Surveys and committees only start;they never end.
I donot agree that India does not know what is Honesty.
    For fun it is alright.

  2. Of course it is all in good humor:D
From a real standpoint, generalizations can never be applied especially to a country as diverse as India

  3. Hehehe. I think Canadians at least would have known what the whole question meant. At least they are nice AND honest, especially. And some know what shortage means as well. šŸ™‚
